2013 - A Fresh Start
Became a licensed REALTOR®, bringing a client-first approach and a background in Fortune 500 sales and marketing to the Central Texas market.
2015 - Forming ARK Property Team
Partnered with Donna Ciccarelli to create the ARK Property Team, Acts of Remarkable Kindness, built on trust, collaboration, and exceptional client care.
2016 – Joining Realty Austin
Joined Realty Austin, growing the business with a strong team and modern technology while staying focused on Central Texas clients.
2023 – Realty Austin Merges with Compass
The merger expanded reach nationwide, giving Richard the ability to help clients relocate in and out of Austin with ease. Additionally, agents in other cities now had a trusted realtor in Austin that they could refer their clients to.
2026 – A New Home At Pure Realty
Richard and Donna moved the ARK Property Team to Pure Realty, an independent Cedar Park brokerage whose charitable mission, funding clean water for families in need with every closing, is a natural fit with the ARK spirit. It's where the team calls home today.

After 25 years in Fortune 500 sales and marketing, he built a real estate practice grounded in data and straight talk, helping clients buy, sell, and invest in residential, farm and ranch, and commercial properties.
Known for clear communication, strong negotiation, and a client-first approach, Richard's mission is simple: make every real estate decision as confident and stress-free as possible. He holds the ABR, SRS, Master CNE, PSA, and GRI designations and brings specialized expertise in VA loans.
About Donna Ciccarelli
Donna Ciccarelli is a seasoned Central Texas REALTOR® with nearly three decades of experience. Since 1997, she built her career as a top farm and ranch agent with Tom Brooks Real Estate in Glen Rose, in the heart of Texas ranch country, and her expertise spans residential, farm and ranch, new construction, and historic properties.
Known for her client-first philosophy, Donna develops tailored strategies to help buyers and sellers reach their goals, whether that means negotiating the best deal, maximizing property value, or planning for a future move. She combines a competitive drive with a heart for service, making every real estate experience both results-driven and deeply personal.
About Ajay Michalek
As the ARK Property Team's Transaction Coordinator, Ajay Michalek makes sure every detail is handled from contract to close. With a background in project coordination, quality assurance, and client services, she brings strong organizational skills and a steady hand to each transaction.
